Even though its ranking has gone down this year, it is the only IIIT in PPP mode to be in the top 200 of the rankings in this category.

An analysis shows that the Institute’s marks decreased by 2.89 as compared to 2021, The primary reason for this was a reduction of 2.91 marks due the adverse faculty-student ratio. While the faculty strength has remained almost the same, the number of students have increased.

Improving the faculty-student ratio is not easy for an Institute dependent entirely on its own income for its functioning. But the Institute has scope of increasing its marks under the category of “Research and Professional Practice”. While our number of publications are quite good, the quality has to improve.
