ABOUT IIITG’S CULTURAL BOARD

IIIT Guwahati boasts a vibrant cultural environment, where we strongly believe that cultural activities not only shape individuals' personalities but also provide stress relief and help uncover hidden talents. Under the guidance of the Cultural Secretary, our dedicated club coordinators ensure active participation of the entire college in cultural activities organised by the nine diverse cultural clubs on campus.

The clubs include Tarang-Music Club, D-Dazzelers -Dance Club, Afsaane-Drama Club, Kalrav--Literary Club, Overbooked-Reading Club, Alankrit-Fine Art Club, Portraiture-Photography Club, Prashnatantra-Quiz Club, and Bios Skopien-Movie Club. Each club is managed by two coordinators who facilitate smooth operations and organise weekly events. The Cultural Board, consisting of a Faculty Coordinator and two Associate Faculty Coordinators, the Cultural Secretary, SGC and Club Coordinators, collaborates to enhance and create the best cultural environment at IIIT Guwahati. Our aim is to provide students with a platform to explore their interests, showcase their talents, and foster a thriving cultural community within the institute.
