Applications are invited for admission to the Master of Technology (M.Tech) programmes starting in August 2023. There is no application fee. GATE score is not mandatory. Working IT professionals with BE/B.Tech in any discipline OR M.Sc in Computer Science/Information Technology OR Graduates (AMIETE) from Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) in Computer Science and Engineering OR MCA from a recognized Institution. Candidates must have at least two years' experience in IT related work which includes programming experience.

Candidates still to appear in their qualifying degree examinations may also apply, provided they appear in all their qualifying degree examinations and complete all requirements for their degrees 31-07-2023. If selected, such candidates shall be admitted provisionally, and they will have to furnish the results of their qualifying degree examinations latest by 30-10-2023. Further, they must fulfil the minimum requirements of marks/CPI, and other conditions. Failure to fulfil any of these requirements, shall automatically result in cancellation of admission. |
Relaxation for SC/ST/PwD Candidates: Eligibility criteria will be relaxed by 5% marks or 0.5 CPI for SC/ST/PwD applicants. |
Reservation of Seats for SC, ST, OBC (Non-creamy layer), EWS, and PwD categories.
OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates will have to enclose certificate and self-declaration statement as per format indicated below. The OBC(NCL) Certificate, issued by competent authority, on or after 01-06-2023, shall only be acceptable.
SC, ST, and EWS students must provide certificates issued by a competent authority. PwD candidates must produce approved Medical Certificate for 40% (or more) disability. |

Fees
These are self-financed courses and all students have to pay the full fees as shown below. ON-CAMPUS Mode:

Payment of Fees by M.Tech students in online mode is to be on a per credit basis. In order to allow students to take up the courses in the programmes at their own pace, fees will be charged on a per credit completion basis every semester.
Fees for the Online M.Tech CSE programme
Charge per Credit: Rs. 3500/-.
A student taking the normal load will pay fees as follows:

{C}1. {C} Students taking more than the minimum number of credits will not be charged for the extra credits.
{C}2. {C} If a student registers for 30 credits, he has to pay fees of Rs. 1,05,000/-. Subsequently, if he drops a course of 6 credits, Rs, 21,000 will be carried forward to the next semester. If a student fails in a course, she will be charged for the course, but if she repeats the course or gives a supplementary examination, there will be no extra charge.
{C}3. {C} So, a student has to pay fees of Rs. 4,20,000.00 for the programme, irrespective of the time taken to complete, or the number of extra credits taken beyond the specified 120 credits.
Fees for the Online M.Tech ECE (Communication and Signal Processing) programme
Charge per Credit: Rs. 2500/-.
A student taking the normal load will pay fees as follows:

If a student fails in a course, she will be charged for the course, but if she repeats the course or gives a supplementary examination, there will be no extra charge.
